We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to join our team in Whitestown!Warehouse Team LeadThe following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.

POSITION
Summary:
The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for working in and facilitating the daily distribution goals of the department to include cost, quality, service, delivery and safety.
The Warehouse Team lead provides leadership and motivation to employees in an assigned production area.
Directs and trains warehouse personnel as required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION (Other duties may be assigned.
):
Creates a pre-shift plan that assigns team member duties to meet, shipping and receiving goals, quality goals, and shift challenges that current set-up will encounter during shift; discusses plan with management and seeks guidance where necessary.
Provides timely and effective feedback to supervisor on the quality performance and productivity standards of assigned team members; helps team members understand the responsibility to own the quality of their work.
Provides leadership, work direction, training and motivation to assigned team members in a diverse work force.
Ensures that employees are following set procedures and safety policies.
Understands workload constraints and flexes employees in and out of duties as workflow fluctuations occur.
Demonstrates a positive attitude and holds other associates accountable when demonstrating demeaning, demoralizing, or negative attitudes; treats all associates with respect and dignity.
Actively supports management decisions and communicates concerns to management as appropriate.
Act as a back up for other Warehouse Team Leads.
Act as back up as needed to All process, inventory validation and style set up when needed.
Assist with slotting product in the most efficient manner for outbound productivity.
Provides recommendations to resolve inventory issues including set-up, counting, reconciliation, slotting and profiling.
Takes ownership for the team and their performance.
Provides updates to management on team member training progress and makes recommendations on potential training opportunities.
Assists in warehouse tasks to support labor needs.
POSITION REQUIREMENTSAbility to exercise sound judgment and make decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
Dependable and able to be flexible with work schedule as needed.
Ability to work in a team environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bi-lingual ability a plus.

EDUCATION and or/
Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent2
years of warehouse and inventory experienceGood knowledge of Microsoft based programs including excel, word, outlook etc.
Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience required.
Has demonstrated leadership capabilities and is willing to participate in leadership training opportunities.
Dependable with a good record of attendanceMust be able to get along with a variety of individualsMust be able to work overtime as requiredWilling to follow instructions and take directionPHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
