Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers - Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences - Check identification to ensure legal drinking age - Maintain a clean and organized bar area - Monitor customer behavior and ensure responsible alcohol consumption - Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately - Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed - Collaborate with other staff to tear, deep clean and reset the space at the end of the shift - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred - Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and calculating drink prices - Familiarity with food handling and safety regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff members - Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes - Experience using point-of-sale systems, such as Aloha POS or similar software - Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
